I just set up a second monitor to give me some extra screen real estate, and I’m in awe of how easy it was to setup.
Step 1: Plug it into back of iMac.
Step 2: Turn it on.
Step 3: There is no step 3.
I don’t care if you think Windows is the best thing since virus protection plans, but you just have to admit: Macs “just work.” I didn’t have to worry about drivers or installing new firmware. I literally just plugged my second monitor into the back of my main monitor. That’s it. It’s truly a thing of beauty.
Yeah same, its was very simple.
Let me preface my post by saying that I’m typing it from a Mac. I love it, and think that the 13-inch Macbook Pro is the greatest computer on the face of this planet.
But yeah, Macs just work. But what if you’ve got a Macbook? You can’t just plug in a second screen, you’ve got to head out to the store and buy a MiniDisplayPort adapter.
And if Macs “Just worked” then there wouldn’t be any tech support forums.
love the look of the new site. your stuff is great.
I think you got lucky, i bet it stops working reallllllll soon. Bitch.
